DIY Menus 01/30/2010
 Looking for a simple project to ease yourself into the DIY movement? Look no further. Our DIY menu template is a simple yet elegant way to add a personal touch to your reception in just 5 easy steps. Step 1: Download our DIY Menu Template. The template is set up to print two menus (4¼ ” x 11”) per page.  Step 2: Customize the menu template. Type in your name, your significant other's name, your wedding date and your menu options. Change the font color to match your color theme. Be sure to proofread your menus for spelling and grammatical errors. Tip: Make sure you make the changes to both sides of the template.  Step 3: Print your menus on cardstock or a heavy weight paper. If you have access to a good quality printer you can print the menus yourself or, you can have your menus printed at your local copy center. Tip: Remember there are two menus per page, you only need to print half as many copies as there will be guests. For example if you’re having 100 guests you’ll only need to print 50 copies.  Step 4: Cut your copies in half vertically so you end up with two menus per sheet. You can buy an inexpensive paper cutter at your local craft store. If you had your menus professionally printed ask if they also provide paper cutting services.  Step 5 (Optional): Embellish your menus. If you want to add a little something extra to your menus you can embellish them with ribbon, rhinestones, glitter, stickers, etc. If you tried this DIY project please contact us and let us know how it came out.
